How to Create USB Bootable For Windows 10?

If you want your computer fully clean with the new installation, then you need to create USB Bootable. Most people prefer Windows rather than using Linux, so I’m going to show you the best way to create USB Bootable for Windows 10.

Create USB Bootable For Windows 10 Using Media Creation Tool

Media Creation Tool is the official Microsoft tool that lets you create installation media also for another PC. First of all, let’s go with the first step.

Step 1: Download Media Creation Tool

Step 2: Insert Removable Device

Step 3: Install and Run Media Creation Tool

Step 4: Select “Create Installation Media

Step 5: Unselect “Use the recommended options for this PC” and choose the language, architecture, and edition you want

Step 6: Select “USB Flash Drive

Step 7: You see the removable device. And click Next Button. That’s it.

After clicking the Next Button, Media Creation Tools start downloading the Window 10. And after getting download completed, it starts making the USB Drive Bootable itself. And in the end, it gives you the Bootable Windows 10 on your USB drive.

Create USB Bootable For Windows 10 Using Rufus

Creating USB Bootable using the Rufus is also a similar process. For this, you need to download the ISO file separately. And the good thing is that the Media Creation tool itself provides this feature.

Step 1: Previously, we’ve selected “USB Flash Drive”. But here we have to select the “ISO File” and click the Next

Step 2: After clicking the Next Button, the tool asks you to choose the Folder for downloading the ISO File. So, browse any Folder you want

Step 3: Save it.

Remember: This will take 20-30 minutes or more depending on your internet speed.

Step 4: Download and Install Rufus

Step 5: Select the USB Drive

Step 6: Select the ISo File

Step 7: Select the partition Scheme to “GPT”

Step 8: Select the Target System to “UEFI (Non-CSM)

Step 9: Select NTFS in File System

Step 10: Select Quick Format

Step 11: Select “Create extended label and icon files

Step 12: Start

Step 13: Click Close after everything gets completed.

Note: This might takes 10-20 minutes depending on your USB Device Reading/Writing Speed.
